Its still moving and peeping so that's a good sign Im hoping that it will hatch tomorrow.. The vein is still there but shrinking.. I lost the other one

As of now, I will have only 7 to put into lockdown.

My New Years hatch is down to 2 eggs out of 12 set.

I'm sorry it's not better for you both , but glad you're both still in it .

As for me , I just don't look at em .​

I have been having a 40% hatch rate on shipped eggs at the lowest....... This ruins that for me

I usually only candle once on day 11 if I happen to have my own eggs ... If I have shipped eggs I candle on day 11 and day 17 or 18.

I have 12 that go on lockdown tomorrow.... more of an experimental hatch from my birds. Out of those.... 3 were silver sebrights...two were clear, and the rest were hatchery quality silkies and looking good on day 11 ... maybe still are

We are having a white Christmas here

...first one since 1963 or 1967 (can't remember which the news anchor said - either way it was before my time

). Hope everyone had/is having a great holiday!
