How exciting! The beginning of the moment we've all been waiting for!

Idealistic, that's not a bantam?

I have a question about the timing.......
If we can't do this at noon, is it better to do it a bit early or a bit late? Tuesday evening or Wednesday evening?

I have a feeling this week is going to pass by pretty quickly!

I'll probably mess it up, but since everyone tells me the Icelandics will hatch early, I'm candling late Tuesday night and I'll stop turning early Wednesday morning.

Probably. We just had a discussion about how he thinks his time is worth more than chicken people would think it is worth.

IE- he's a GC, so he thinks in terms of materials(at cost) + (outrageous contracting) hourly rate.

Whereas myself, as a super-thrifty chicken lady, would have a very definate cap on what I would pay for something like that brooder. I think he would need to think in terms of manufacturing: like he could expect to make $30 on each brooder, period.

Instead of "When Worlds Collide", our discussions are "When accountants marry economists-turned laborers".

I am planning to lockdown Wed evening since I added 2 of 10 eggs 1 day late. Well I dont have a choice anyway. Between work and the 4 kids after I get home there is not much time left. Cant wait.
