I locked down several, but I saw no movement, but I rarely if ever do at this point.

What I did notice is some had smaller aircells and kind of worried about that.

Someone suggested a Die Hard Award for the last chick hatched from eggs set for NYD. (Interesting to see just how late babies can be and still make it)

This is an awesome idea....I just had a little one hatch on Dec. 12th, it was day 27. Strong buggers aren't they? She is doing fine and growing like a weed.

Oh this wind!

Rain is back on it's way too.

Last night I was praying that the power stayed on and that none of the trees fell on my car.

My games are all on my back porch making all kinds of racket when they here me. Can you believe I have a kitchen that doesn't have a window to face my backyard? Wonder who designed this dump.

I was hoping to get some more birds outside this week. I have 3 brooders in my house!!!

never in my life had I intended to have chickens in my house.

The bigger brooder is in the garage and I'm short on coops.

I need a COOP RAISING party. Deviled eggs for everyone. Even if I have to buy them from someone else. And I used to be a heck of a bartender, so everyone is invited.

I put 57 eggs into lockdown. OMG! I need some intervention.

Actually made it to work and back today. Kinda surprised but the pass over the mountains was clear and it had barely even snowed on the other side of the mountain. The worst of the snow is yet to come we hear though. Glad we are back on our side of the mountain now. Anyway got the rest of the supplies I needed. Smaller feeder, smaller waterer and an extra bulb for the lamp (thank you Linda for mentioning that). Now we have everything. Bag of chick starter feed I got the other day. Come on chickies! We want to see you!

Wasn't that wind something?!?!?!

I live in a very sturdy house, but I was awakened several times by the wind. Only three of my coops are sturdy enough for me not to worry about them when the trees bend over like that. And there was stuff blown all over the place this morning. I had hardly enough time to make sure I still have what looked like all of the flock.... No coops were blown over. The kids in the ginormous brooder in the shed were okay but pretty agitated.... Or maybe that was me.

I have to put two coops and a duck house together this coming 3 day weekend, in between caring for whatever hatchlings make it out of the incubator. *frazzled expression*
