It's really blowing here again. Man it's bad this year. And it's only December??? OMG!

I haven't even made it out back yet this morning. Grand daughter is right here on my lap while I'm reading and posting. She ended up in the ER Christmas night with a double ear infection and has a mild fever, so sitting here breaking my legs.

Between her being sick, trying to get these bators tweeked and cleaning my poor dogs face I'm getting to tired to walk out there. Plus the cold is bone chilling! Oh and reason I'm taking care of the dogs face is because she got bit by a black widow 2 weeks ago and still draining. That thing swelled so fast after the bite it scared me. So I have a normally slobbery dog with an icky bite that has to be cleaned several times a day.

Maybe I really am getting to old for this.

Is it too late to enter the crowing rooster contest? (my chicken soup rooster aparently didn't qualify to enter - hahah) I know, I know, this one probably won't qualify either but...having eaten the rooster - I am scrabbling here!

6/6 Buff Orp Mix all look to be growing

21/21 button quail eggs (did not test)
63/65 Japanese quail eggs (did not test)

My hatcher is very very full!
Now to figure out the brooder space
