Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

Wow! You really pay attention. That's crazy for a thread this long.

The cabbage soup was incredibly fabulous! I also made the apple pie and I'm eating the last piece now (thankfully I've moved the coupon from striking distance having learned my lesson). Haven't gotten to the bread, butter or chicken noodle soup yet. Boyfriend works 48 hours straight this weekend, so I'll probably make it tomorrow after work. Unless my eggs start jiggling then I probably won't be able to tear myself away.

If it's okay I'll add a dozen hatching eggs Cuckoo Marans or Indian Rivers (Delaware roo over New Hampshire hens) and they can have them now or use them for the Easter Hatch...

OK, I locked down at noon today, so I've been fighting with temp, humidity, and venting for nearly 6 hours. I'm currently running on 99.6 and 60%, but have only 2, just smaller than a dime, air holes open. Otherwise, I can't hold heat or humidity. I'm worried I won't have enough oxygen for my babies like this. Funny, though, I've added a thick washrag and it is drenched; my humidity has remained the same as it always was. I got it up to 65 for a while, but it's back down to 60. I did forget that you were supposed to put in warm water. Thank you for the reminder!

Sure, unless you have another contest you'd like to add just to make this crazy thread even more crazy.

But I think you should send me the eggs first, just to you know, make sure they pass rigorous quality control before being unleashed on the public. And maybe a turkey egg or two... for good measure.
