Kathy, I agree with the others, I have had this happen too. Don't know what it is either but the chick will be fine.

of course it's an on your honor thing. With so many of our chicks hatching so early there won't be that many more that hatch after midnight... but I still have 18 in the bator with hope that one of them pips and hatches... just after midnight. Newest 2011 chick in their own time zone wins the prize.

My babies from Nat (sonew) will not stay in there darn shell. Still 7 hours plus until midnight here and I already have 5 babies out (4 olive eggers and a blrw) and another zipping (a blrw). I only have 12 eggs in lockdown, lol.

527 pages!!!!!! The last time i logged on we were only on page 231... I dont think I will be trying to catch up tonight..

It is 7:25pm here and I have 7 eggs that have pipped, so it looks like I will be early for a new years baby. Best wishes to all the mommys and daddys tonight. I have 39 total.

Take a pic of the chick after its out after post 5500, take a pic of the computer showing it's past 5500 and post them both. It's going to be a picture taking, posting frenzy soon!

I think I guessed that the post number after midnight would be 5111... we passed that long, long ago!!!

My DH stays up late so if no one posts a chick at 12:01 EST I'll plop my laptop next to the bator so he can take a pic if one comes out from 12-2 or so. I'll check back around 4 when I get up..
