Issue:

New chick helped out of the shell about 12 hrs ago. The only one who hatched. It's peeping non stop in the warm brooder, staying away from the feather duster. Will ONLY hush when balled up between cupped hands or cradled in a hand with the feather duster on top.

Suggestions?

Linda I think that was part of the problem with the one that I had to help out. It wasn't completely upside down but it was kinda stuck with its head at an angle and couldn't pip right. Glad to hear that your chick is doing good too!

Congrats again to everone. This has been a blast and I have learned so much that will help me out with my future hatches. I will definately be doing the Easter Hatchand may even be brave enough to buy some more eggs by then.
