That was me!
I put a feather duster in and my 4-year-old donated a stuffed animal. I'll try to find a mirror, but we just don't want more chicks right now. We're hoping to hatch some more, but my husband is starting to get antsy when I talk about hatching more eggs. He looks at his stellar 8-10 capacity chicken coop (believe me, it's stellar! Pics when he's done -- this man has put WORK in to this thing!) and back at how many eggs I plan on setting next time and back at how many chickens we have (6 8-week-olds, but the neighbors are supposed to take 2 or 3 of them!), and gets a really worried look on his face.
This little one really, though, only calms when she's held balled up inside two cupped hands -- mine, preferably. JUST like my two kids wanted to be swaddled for about a month, and the way this chick was FOLDED into that little egg (I suspect it was a pullet egg), I can imagine she likes being folded up!
Suppose you could carry her around in your pocket or your bra.
Speckledhen had a "pocket pooper," chick, that her husband carried around in his flannel shirt pocket!
