Linda such cute chicks out of the TJ eggs. My DH is just amazed that grocery store eggs hatch! I have explained that it is not just any grocery store eggs but he thinks it is cool. The third one looks like it is the morning after a hard night drinking!

Just curious, not!. But I was wondering, would it work if someone shipped TJ eggs. I should think so, but just wondering. That way those of us who don't have a TJ's around could still join the fun. I absolutely love the idea of hatching TJ eggs. It's such a wonderful concept.

Yeah, I did that this morning and she seemed to pick up on it. She pecked it at least, though I doubt she "ate" it. I'll keep it up today and see if the "gets" it. She's in a Rubbermaid tub, so she can see through well and spends all of her time looking out for us, so I scattered some food around the edges where she frequents.

I have a lone chick from my pre New Year's hatch too. It took him 2 full days to figure out the food/water thing but now on day 4 he won't stop! The water was the hardest thing because I was so afraid of drowning it by dipping the beak. He acted like he was drowning at least! I had to make a portable cage that I move around the house depending on where I am - light and all. This weekend's hatch cannot come soon enough!
