But I will say it is very user friendly and has been very stable on temps and for holding the humidty. I have an extra bator that my hubby built for me out of a styrofoam cooler. Thanks for the feedback! I don't know if I'd trust myself to build one, not yet anyway. I think the stress of hatching will be bad enough without worrying about the quality of my work!
I once built one out of a card board box and an infra red lamp. It hatched some babies, but not as worry free as my Hova Bator for sure.
I've been contemplating building a 10 gallon tank hatcher for the next time i hatch quail. They get into all sorts of trouble in the bator when they hatch.
