I think the most fun of the Easter hatch is going to be midnight! Everyone will be home this time!

I, for one was at the neighbors party. I checked the incubator at 11 and had a pip, at 1:30 I had a chick. This time I'll be sitting there at midnight staring down the eggs!

at this point in time, I doubt we could ever get an accurate count. I guess we could go to Laree's spreadsheet and count the ones posted there, but that's less than 1/3 of the participants... so I suppose you could times that amount by three??

Hehehehehehehehe. Who amongst us has the most fortititude and wherewithal to check the list or folks saying they were in, on the first page, then PMing them all and then compiling.... Never mind. I'll hush my mouth now.

You don't see me. I was never here. Buh-bye!

Did you check to see if there is still some clear tape on the battery? Maybe it didn't all come off when you pulled the little white tab? I think they are just watch batteries, aren't they? Maybe you can get one at Walmart or some place.

It must of had a slight residue. I took the battery out nothing appear to be on it. I gave it a scratch with my finger nail popped it back in and....it works
Popped it in and at egg level the incubator was running at 99.0 degrees...did a half of degree make that big of a difference (a two day delay??) or could it have been because they were shipped eggs. I've never hard this happen to me. I've been hatching for almost 2 years.

I don't know how many times in my life I have either taken the batteries out and put them back in , or simply tapped a switch lightly , and had something start to work . Not an experienced hatcher , but I think a half degree over a long , continuous period would make quite a difference .
