WELLLLLLL, since you asked .... EVERYONE needs Delawares, ya know!

Are they endangered? If they are I will do them, where do I get them at. My DD lives in Delaware does that help?

No really who should I get them from?

YES, they are endangered! Check here on the Delaware Poultry Club site .... there is a breeders list...

To whomever offered the "Die Hard" prize or prizes.

Please review the past two days of pages and decide to whom you would like to award the prize.

Also, for those who hatched no chicks up to this point in the hatch. (which is now officially over). Chookschicks offered a wonderful prize, all you have to do is send me a number between 1 & 7999. Person that picks closest to the number she gave us wins.

OK why is it so easy to picture you waking up like this?

Note to self, don't ever try this

oohh speaking of die hard....my last chick hatched though I helped it partially out last night. It finished its way out while I was at work today. I candled the rest of eggs including the turkey's and they are all dead. I'm cleaning it out, upping the temp now that I have the spot check and loading it up again tomorrow!

So final NY hatch

0/3 Midget White Turkey
3/4 Splash Marans
3/11 Blue Eggs (I can't remember which ones are which White and W/BW Ameraucana's)
2/2 1st gen. Olive Eggers
2/2 Project Pullet eggs

10/22

And I think Mrs Fuzzybutts should get the die hard she had the longest "peeper"

I agree. The true prize was playing with all you guys and having a great time. Thanks for listening to me (and laughing at me). Hopefully our friendship doesn't end when this thread does, but I'll see y'all on Groundhog Day for the Easter Hatch.

I'm with ya there! I think I'm calling this one done......
If you have a BYC page for the last contest, "Best BYC page documenting the event of your hatching experience," please PM it to me. Judging for that is Feb 1st, by uninvolved BYCers.

Thanks to you all! It's been a blast!

I really do not think that's a bad hatch for this time of year in NY . I set 42 eggs , had 25 clears , hatched 15 , and put one of them down due to balance or leg problems leaving me 14 [ and I'm really happy about getting that many
