I thought I would share a couple pictures of my girls and guys(all girls in the photos though) enjoying this wonderful weather that we're having today where I am.

Linda, could you use folded paper towels until you can find the paper?  You know, just to get things rolling?

ETA - or maybe some kind of card stock? 

I didn't see where the paper was necessary in the instructions, I saw it in there but didn't think it
was necessary unless the humidity is real low. Did I miss something or is there a trick to it?

I'm setting late because I can't find the humidity paper for my Octagon 20 incubators! AAAUUGGGHH! <*tearing the house apart, looking in boxes*>

Is this a how-to paper?Like instructions? Not familiar with Oct. 20. Can you look on line for a copy?

I almost fainted when I counted the marans 11- what?

Then I scrolled down a bit to see the entire incubator, and there in the corner all by itself, the 12 th egg. Relief! Michelle, I think it's lonely.

I have this method. I open the thread from the last page and also from where I last visited through My Profile, then I keep up on one window while reading the 276 post I was behind in another window.

I don't think i've entered any contests but 1 in all the hatch alongs I've joined. Maybe I should figure those out.

I have a hen in nest and a crowd of backup singers surrounding her. A couple of hens in and out of the boxes, but no more eggs yet. Maybe I have Irish chickens and they just wanna party! That Irish husband of mine must be watching over us and making sure the chickens keep me busy. Wish he'd been watching over when I broke all those eggs!

ty so much i appreciate that it did help just been worried about temp took a while to get it up and when i put eggs in it droped and does not want to go back up and i have poeople asking for some of he chicks when they hatch

Remind them of the old saying, "Don't count on any chicks from me before day 21," (or something like that!)

Feel free to return the smack at any time the mood strikes you. It is a stress reliever to dish those puppies out as well and to get them!


And Mahonri, we are all happy to hear that your equipment is working properly, and we will assume you are still talking incubation and will hurry on with our conversations.......

I wish I had something other than my hone to take pics with. The colors justa aren't showing. Probably be even prettier if I haven't broken so many blue and purple eggs too.

You can't really see the color, but the 5 on the bottom right are my Lavender eggs.

Ok, I finally have them all and I need to pm Laree with the new number. I'm now holding at 67 eggs. I was originally on supposed to set 24 of my own eggs and 24 of my neighbor's. I'd finish this post, but I'm going fishing.... again.
