Wind stopped! Yaay! Just a little windy now. That was pretty serious stuff going on out there! Power stayed on, tree stayed up. Whew. I wonder how many trees did go down though, and I'm sure some trees lost some big branches.

We always get a lot of wind in our "tornado alley". Don't have to worry much about trees coming down since most blew down in straight line winds a few years before we moved in. I still worry about barns losing pieces, but don't have to worry about branches coming through the roof or taking down power lines. I hate not having timber, but there is an upside to it I guess.

Rained a lot yesterday - may the states east of us watch out!

I hope some makes it to Iowa! We've had scattered showers, but most of them managed to miss us.

Yes, he hatched all on his own. No help from me at all.

What happened to the browser? I only get on w my phone and.outta the blue.it says "the rich txt editor is not compatible w your browser." I can't upload photos anymore. It used to let me with the source button but now there isn't one! Gaaaah! I want to post pics for the contest.

I get that with Firefox. Sad, since it is one of the top 3 browsers.

Try installing Google Chrome.

This Morning I checked on the Genesis that is my Hatcher. Thirteen Marans eggs are in there with two thermometors. One is a Brinsea Spot Check inside a Water Weasel. The other is from Incubator Warehouse and has an Hygrometor too. The Temp was 99.0 on the Brinsea and 99.1 on the other. I almost pushed the botton the increase the temp by .2, but thought is this something Mahonri would do? So I left it alone.

Could that be a contest for the lockdown part of the hatch? What would Mahonri do?

I am curious to see what happens at lockdown...
