On a happy note, my fiance got his tentative start date for the transfer....Spetember 14th. So it looks like we are coming to Maine after all

Ahh, A couple hours away from me. Definitely a rural enough area for chickens and any other livestock you may want.

We definitely plan on livestock. Pigs, chickens and other fowl, horses and a sheep or two (I work with wool)

I came back from Guatemala to a broody hen. She's sitting on 8 eggs (forgive me if I already posted this!) Day 7 tomorrow. Hope to do some serious rooster culling before hatch day.

That sounds wonderful. The place we're going to check out once we get there is on 25 acres

So I have big plans lol(if we can get it. If not, we'll get somewhere else and I'm sure it'll be just as nice)

I just did that today. Down to 3 roos and there is once again peace in the village.
