Maine

does anyone have cayuga ducks? i am looking for eggs to carve. I plan to blow these out or if you want to do it that using the one hole method, good.
I will be at the swaps, waterville, augusta, skowhegan. only looking to start with 2 to try them out.

I have cayuga but only one lays a darker egg, and it is not uniform. I am rather disappointed since I got them from the best place to get them(what I was told)

I hope turkeys will be a big seller this yr. I have 14 due this weekend and just won auctions for 24 +more.
bourbon reds, narragansetts and slates.

are you selling any d'uccles I was really hoping to see you on the 1st but things happen lol! I am really looking to get some bantams again, i have 2 partridge wyandotte bantams right now and want some more cochins and d'uccles!

Two of my bantam cochin hens are broody, so I no longer have to start up a new incubator for my next round of d'Uccle and cochin eggs.

See, bantams are handy after all

you know those really pretty chickens I had when you bought the maran and ee from me. Well I have a young roo (about 1 year) for sale, he does his job because his eggs are developing, he does not crow, and he is really pretty, He is $15.00. He is a silver spangled hamburg!

Does anyone have any Barred Rock or EE roos or cockerels for sale ?

I am planning on going. I may not set up. it depends on what I have for birds ready to go. but I am very excited to see this swap set up and so near by.

I'm thinking of hatching out some Delawares. If I do, would they do well at the swaps ? Is anyone else going to the Skowhegan swap ?
