More snow for Tuesday.

Thought that if I at least appear to be thrilled about it then it won't happen. Somehow I don't think it will work. Enough. Enough. Enough. NO MORE SNOW. My chickens have made it very clear that this is their wish.

My son did that today, too! He said maybe if he SAYS he wants it, it won't come. That's my boy-hope it works!

I'm not a beetle expert (nor a Beatle) but I have traps all over in the spring and no issues here. However, I'd point out that my chickens absolutely positively will not eat japanese beetles. I kill and compost them.

Really? Luckily mine just love them, or my garden would never make it.

we had 2" of snow yesterday morning, 5 miles down the road, they had none.
thankfully today that has all left.

Only 2"? My house doesn't get much sun, so we still have at least 18" here.

Been working on many things at home recently. Hping to turn enough profit to up the down payment on a house.
Work hasnt been easy to find in Maine, but still waiting on some posts out in Wyoming. (probably wont happen)

My one success was the incubator and cross expiriment.
Had a Houdan and Silkie mix and calling it a Houkie

I had several of the pheremone-attractant traps around the orchard last year, and dumped them into the chicken run frequently with no ill effects other than a feeding frenzy stampede! I will definitely be doing the same thing this year.
