Good morning on this snow day, my girls would not go out in the snow how about any one else

My girls will go out into their sun room (not going to be sunny today.) It's still not finished, I need to put up plastic on the north side, and on the south gable, as well as a fence to close off that bay of the run, and block them from going under the coop. At this point, I wish I had an other month of summer. But, I'm getting a few eggs now. Had a new player yesterday: little creamy brown pullet egg.

My three 11-week old cockerels (yes, my broody-raised eggs were 3 for 3 roos!) were in absolute shock at the snow. It was pretty funny to see them do an about face back into the coop. The hens typically don't go out unless I throw used shavings in the run or shovel it. The goats absolutely refuse to leave the barn with any amount of precipitation. Spoiled little creatures. :-)

I finally have at least 3 hens laying again after 2.5 months of no eggs. Woo!

I ended up getting the run shoveled and use a rake to turn things up and added a layer of leaves I reserved, it got the girl's out long enough to get some fresh air before it was time to go in the night
