Well..you could work for dirt cheap and make the final price $999.99 lol! Really though..that would be so fustrating if they said no...good luck!!

LoL. Even dirt cheap we are so freaking slow that the hours are going to add up! Even at minimum wage. jeesh. I mean if you include design and planning my husband and I have already surpased 100 hours! (Kidding, but it feels like it!) And do we have to add the cost of the run to it? Fencing is EXPENSIVE!!!! So yeah, I give up. It'll be more than a grand and we are doing the "right thing" and getting a permit. Sigh. I hate having a conscience sometimes. I think most people just build the darn things.

I may be bringing : a RIR rooster, some organically grown vegetable seedlings, maybe a couple bunnies. If anyone would like me to bring some hatching eggs down let me know and I will bring them! ( Bantams, Mixed flock chicken, Indian Runner ducks ). Pictures and info on the eggs available on my website.

I am also looking for : A mini rex buck, a flemish giant doe ( will consider other giant breeds), a lionhead buck, and a dwarf doe. Breeding age bunnies would be great, but will take babies as well. Also looking for a duo of goats! Also open to consider hatching eggs of rareish chicken breeds to set in the incubator on ( 5/12).

Thanks everyone!

I am not sure how much you are looking to spend, but I just ordered a chicken coop for this place..
http://rootscoopsandmore.com. I met with the owners and looked over the coops and they are built great...I had looked everywhere for coops and this is the one place that I felt were the best price.....good luck!

I got one of the mid-size coops from them last year. Good for the price. Very nice people. Cleaning them out can be a pain because of their size. Also, they could use more ventilation. I had to insulate the inside of the roof with foam board insulation and then cover with plastic so that the birds would not eat it. Without insulation and lack of ventilation condensation builds up quickly in the winter on the inside of the metal roof. Also, I would get one of the screen inserts for the windows because without it it get very hot inside in the summer with metal roof and all... With these adjustments it is working out well. This year I am building my own
