Hi Double-0
Sometimes a feed switch can cause your birds to eat less for a short period of time, which could cause a temporary change in production. After a little while, they should get used to it, and return to business as usual. Typically though, the change in production would happen a week or two after the switch, instead of immediately.
A couple other things that come to mind- Which layer product are you using? I am curious if it is our "Course Layer", which is more of a novelty feed, than a production based feed. I have tons of customers that love that stuff, however, it is not made to produce like our "Layer Pellets" are.
Also, could you take a peek at the "best if used by" date on the tag. Every once in a while, we find that a feed store didnt rotate product properly, and ends up selling outdated product.
