I have also used Sevin out of desperation in the past. I actually used sevin in the coop and ivermectin on m birds. Desperation makes us do crazy things. Now I have DE to prevent another infestation like that! DE in the dust baths and sprinkled in the new coop under the bedding.

I have a few birds left to sell before winter if anyone is interested. 10 wk pair of wyandottes, black pullet with white probably cockeral. 1 splash pullet wyandotte (any of these wyandottes bred together can produce blue laced red wyandottes) , 1 lavender orpington cockeral and 1 black with red highlights silkie cockeral. and adding my wheaton marans hen as well

What a neat day. I did was disappointed over a few people. One was the man who lost his RIR rooster kept running it towards the road

But that was solved, rooster was successfully re-homed. Then a couple left birds in dark green pet carriers in the back of the truck for 3 hours and didn't appear to have any water, panting and uncalled for. Please if you see someone treating birds like this, please speak to someone that will talk with them. (Or any animal).

All'n all, it was a very fun day. lots of bunnies, combing rabbits for fur to spin, cart rides, goats and yard sale items galore!!! It was a fun day
