I have two incubators loaded and I just hatched out 8 bantam cochins & two d'Uccles from eggs from my hens.

As long as I can get eggs from the barn that don't freeze, I'm HATCHING!!!!

well im really thinking about fireing up my incubater and hatching out a bunch of eggs im thinking if i can get a bunch going this winter i should have a bunch of laying hens next summer and the extra roos can go to freezer camp

ive been thinking about doing the new years day hatch that would give me time enuff to have a bunch of eggs ready to go as long as the grils keep laying like they are now but im leaveing the light on in the coop all night only problem is my roos crow all day and night lol

I was planning on doing some baking for the poultry club auction so i bought some special chocolate and hid it away so it would not get eaten. I did such a good job hiding it, I can't find it. so i go on, I make the chocolate truffles and then I use the only other chocolate in the house- peanut M&Ms. lol.
oh the truffles did not turn out right even without the grated chocolate covering, 2 different recipes so I guess it's just as well but I wish I could find that chocolate. I will in about 4 months I'm sure.
at least I know I hid it so the animals couldn't get into it either. so I made a cheesecake instead and now I'm thinking everyone is going to be feeling fat from t-day and no one will want it. guess I should have gone with apple, could freeze that one, not sure about cheesecake.
