My neighbors have seen (well, mostly heard) me screaming obscenities at the roosters and threatening to eat them. I chased Bazooka Joe around with a stick (not proud of that moment) after he flew right at my face and I couldn't catch him (so I figured I'd strike a little fear into his stupid heart). He's now peaceful in my freezer.

I remember reading a story recently about a guy cutting up meat in his driveway, neighbors called the police. I can't remember if it was a cow or a deer but I find that scary. Unless I'm cutting up something that looks human, it's none of anyones business. But you probably made the right decision to wait!

maybe, I don't own showgirls so I don't really know. main thing is how much fluff is on top of their heads, some are fluff heads (that's my nickname lol) and some less so.

Well... we shall find out. I'm getting 6 showgirl eggs for the NYD hatch. Hopefully this last bit will keep me out of the hatching eggs forum for now... but blueseal, I'd like to get a couple leghorn eggs from you in early spring if possible.

And speaking of hatching egg auctions, did anyone see the Cream Legbar eggs??? I really would love to have those! It wouldn't be practical though, not only for the more than $200 price, but I'd need to build a breeding pen, etc. But, still, I couldn't help dreaming about them.

My poor incubator is empty and lonely.

But until Hannibal goes, and he might have a new home that does not involve freezer camp, I will not hatch out any of my own eggs. No need to pass on his temperament to any offspring.
