How do you fry ice cream?? Wouldn’t it melt?

I believe you have to scoop the ice cream and freeze it uncovered. Then you can coat it and fry it. It is amazing especially with a vanilla bean coating.

I’ve cream is frozen to rock hard stage. Rolled in crusty delicious goodness, then dropped into very hot deep fryer. It browns the outside, and melts in about 1/8-1/4”. Plating it and letting it settle for 2-3 minutes actually let’s cold core firm up melted outside part. When consumed it is soft enough to carve with a spoon and the mix is purely delightful
