I don't know how much it would be a day since normally we just go about once a week or so, but it's about $200 give or take. That's if my brother doesn't come.

But some things last a lot longer than others, so in between its probably closer to $100 or less. For four people (two adults, one child, one teen)

For the dogs, well, that's a whole other story..

I'm at about $8.50 per day but I go to the cheaper grocery store that will discount food if it expires at the end of the month.
I also only go shopping every other week and in the summer it is less than that.

Town bill last month (November) for 5 (3 adults two young teens) was 650 bucks. Including toiletries, laundry soap, etc. This is including our thanksgiving meal.

Our food costs vary widely month to month. I buy protein on the cheap, and adjust meals to match. For instance I buy boneless skinless thighs in a 40 lb box for 27.50. I bought two boxes last time. I repackage and pull out of the freezer as needed.

I raise and slaughter a years supply of beef. Costs 600 bucks feed plus .65 per pound cut/wrap. I put 5-600 lbs in the freezer every April.
