I got my 3 feeder pigs to raise for meat. I figured one for my wife and I, one to give to my mom and dad, as well as my two sons, and the third my cousin wanted me to raise for them.

However I think I am gonna have to get another one cause one of these..... (on the far right of picture) I am gonna keep to raise my own pigs instead of trying to find feeder pigs from area farmers.

I used to have a 24 sow feeder pig business a few years ago, so when I brought these home my wife just knew I'd be keeping one for a sow......she's a smart lady.

I've always preferred the Hamps myself. Seem to be more rugged for pasture raising and being outdoors most the time.
