Making a Chain-link Chicken Run Look Attractive

Hi, Well I have to put my 2 cents in on this one. Not to hurt any BYC'ers feelings, thats not my intent..... but WOW! We use reclaimed wood, hardware cloth, Welded wire, etc......in more configurations that one can imagine, but someone is worried about how to make Chain Link look better. Kills me, its durable, not crazy hard to work with, cost effective compared to other quality run materials, etc... Plant some shrubs, trees , vines...cover it with bamboo, lattice, shade cloth....again, etc. I love the way my run turned out......using chain link. Just my opinion. Here's a pic.

I am planning on using a run like this too, but I was concerned about the rounded door corner, and how it leaves a gap. Is that not big enough to be concerned about?

I am in the design stage of my large run/coop, but I have talked with the wife and we are going to make a small run / coop from a dog fence we have. I have a 12' x 12' and a 12' x 6'. So if the wife likes this first one I will make a small one too.
I have decided to make the run / coop a tractor style so I can move it about the land. I have a tractor to move it with since I know it will be quite heavy!!

Hope to get some Pictures up by next week. I want to get chicks in it within the next couple weeks so I can prepare for the cold Colorado weather!

I think it IS enough to worry about, I actually have my eye on a wood screen door, that I am going to attatch to the existing door and that way I have all my spaces covered. So far though we have been fine, but I understand that I am taking a risk~

I use my dog kennel as a tractor also. It does take 3-4 ppl to move it, but it gives our Girls fresh greens and bugs without the threat of predators. But I do LOVE the pics listed here and through the links! And I will be adding some portable pretties to our run for the Girls to look at..and us too!
