Making Lemonade [Selective Culling Project - very long term]

Any associations between turtle-shaped chicks and the adult form I should be on the lookout for???
My first one (out of 4 from my CP) that made it that was wide as a chick (broody mama had a hard time keeping everyone alive in November) is still rather wide. I don't have a picture of her as a chick, but she was very similar shape wise.

I have another one that didn't jeep the shape as well, but he's a male and still quite young so not sure on him yet. The chick next to the hen is her half sibling. They share a mom and she has the shape too.

I do notice though that from the first 4 I hatched (my blue hen and a yellow/brown/black chick that were full siblings and 2 that were from a naked neck male, the naked necks didn't seem as wide as their half siblings)(ignore the blacks and splash, those are the broodies own chicks)

My hen from the CP is the blue touching the hen and her full sibling is the yellow peeking from behind

Up to 6 now, waiting on the last three to externally pip and hatch. Pictures later, I need to get to work outside before it gets too hot (and right now, they are bundled up next to a couple hand towels and the brooder plate anyways). My wife moved two last night, which I've not seen yet, from incubator to brooder box. At a glance, most chicks are some form of cinnamon in color, and at least two have the "turtle" shape. At least one, probably two, are more the softer yellows I've been seeing in prior hatches than this new cinnamon tone.

I also need to update pics of the candy bars/snack cakes (P2-01), and the espeys - Spot, Stripe, Splotch and Sprawl (P1-04), since they are now 3 weeks and 6 weeks, respectively.

If you are familiar with a bag of "Beneful Healthy Weight Formula" dog food, you can use the printing on the package as a color reference. It makes a fantastic liner for the brooder box, as do Hills Rx diet dog food bags. They don't absorb water, clean up easy, and are just the right size. Anyhow, a couple of the new chicks.
