Making Lemonade [Selective Culling Project - very long term]

The three survivng ducklings hatched by nature - obvious how badly the one was picked on, I had to step in. The other side is even worse, but no infection.

In my climate???
What, you don't want the all black feather legged one!?

I'm kidding, but I haven't seen one of those hatched in a while. Do you know who it came from?
Culling will be an act of sympathy.

I don't have a clue, actually. I could make some guesses, but they wouldn't even be particularly educated ones.

Up to 5 hatchings so far from the current chicken incubation. Base don colors so far, lots of culls. This was from a batch of hatching eggs I had planned to sell before the buyer ghosted me - they had 12 days of chilled storage prior to being set. If I have a 50% hatch rate, I'll be pleased. As usual, I failed to candle completely at day 7, and failed to follow up at all later in the incubation with a second candling. I've been distracted.
