Making my donation this month

That's the reason I am growing mine out... Well, that, vanity, and just because I can.

I still have a few more inches to go, before I can cut it, though... It only grows about 6" a year.

I've made 2 donations to Locks for Love. Ironically enough, about 2 years after my last donation we got a foster daughter in cancer treatment and she qualified for a free wig from Locks of Love. They do beautiful work!!!

Hi! If the hair has to be cut at 'a place' I'm sorry, but they'll lose out.
Sad, but true. I won't have strange people messing with my hair / head, nor will I go into an establishment where there are strange people coming around (and any person I don't know falls in the category of 'strange').

Here's what mine looks like. This was taken over a year ago and I've lost weight since then, so I don't usually share these with the public

i have wanted to donate for a long time. i was just thinking a few days ago it's about time to cut my hair again and then i saw this post and it reminded me.

i'm so thankful u posted to remind me about the program thank you!! well i talked to my 5 year old little girl and her and i both r going to donate to L4L and we r gonna see if my sister and my neice will to. they may not be done in time for christmas but i thought it would be wonderful to get together and all do it to share our love with those who need it for this holiday season. we will see if we can find anyone else who will help us also. my hair should be at least 10-12" mabe a little longer. my daughters is long but maybe not that long yet. can i still cut hers and send with mine long as mine is long enough? i believe by their site rules long as her pony is with mine they will except it and sell it to help offset the cost of makeing them. did i read that right? if not i will have her wait till spring to cut hers to send so it is long enough.
