Hi everyone! The 4th of July parade is coming up this Sunday, and were very excited to ride our horses through it. We've decided to do red, white, and blue mythical creatures theme, (we a unicorn costume from Halloween) and thought that Lucy could be a pegasus. She's black, so i'm thinking black wings with flecks of red, white and bleu feathers throughout the wings. Misty, my mare, will be the 4th of July unicorn. We may have a mini coming with us as well, so we'll have to see what his owner wants him to be.
Its going to be very fun, but I need ideas for the wings. Something similar to this would be nice, no way were gonna spend that much money on wings that are to short. Trying to get ahold of fake black feathers, so we'll see how it goes. Thanks for the suggestions!

I don’t have any ideas on how... but that’s an amazing idea!
Thank you, I think it will be a fun project. :D
So far I'm thinking wire or foam base, foam my be better, but harder to shape into the base. Then fathers, and hot glue lol! I'll post photos of the progress if it works.
