Well GARSH darnit.... just went to gather eggs and three of them looked pecked...... hmmmmmmmmm There was an awful lot of squacking this morning.. thought they were fighting over the nests.

On to other news... I replugged my bator back in... giving it another try. I want to hatch those quail eggs.

Went to the Asian market and they had quail eggs there and I was tempted to buy them just to see if they would hatch.

wonder whats gonna happen when I stick those birds in the run.... Dangit. Hope it was a one time thing....

Those eggs at the market are most usually not fertile as they place the females in a separate pen from the males.

Wouldn't hurt to crack one or two and check

Worst case you have a 15 egg omelet

I went on my local county livestock sight and a guys wants to trade fertile mixed chicken eggs for pheasant eggs..... Oh geez, I need more land.
