If Friday's right, why don't you try to sell the Melmac? Your deadline ain't that closeI just posted my furniture and melmac collection as a free for all on Facebook. Hopefully someone needs something or we are gonna have quite the Bon fire!!
Im not sure.. i should look and see. Thats a good idea. Really didnt want to give it to goodwill but I will if I have too. They charge an arm and a leg around these parts... was hoping someone I knew would want them.Any consignment shops in town? Bet they'd take it.
I agree wholeheartedly, Linda, but the financial 'machine' doesn't work that way. So beat them at their own game; get a credit card or two, and use them, but pay off the balance as soon as the monthly bill arrives...no interest that way. Just don't allow credit cards to get the best of you. I did, for too many years. I don't have a credit card to my name; can't remember the last time I had one. DW has one, but pays it off every month...she knows better than not to.Are you guys ready to hear some political jibberish.... I at 30 something years old.... cant seem to remember the exact age can not for the life of me understand why my credit score is the way it is.. I have zero debt.. pay cash for cars.. no payments cause... That is just an extra bill. No credit cards for the same reason and my credit is in the 500's with no information given.. Now I understand the stipulation that you have to use credit to get credit but doesnt that set people up for failure and I also read that the credit bureaus have a 50 percent inaccuracy on information that is used in big decisions for the American people.... So..... Why isnt there an organization to hold the bureaus responsible.. and if that isnt plausable maybe they need to get rid of it all together.... I for one think you are more responsible to be debt free and living within your means than being able to balance a bunch of unnecessary debt. I dont understand the world in which we live sometimes.... rant over. (maybe)
I have a feeling I wont have a choice in the matter.. but that just doesnt seem right. Too much temptation especially for the younger generations... Shouldnt they only judge you on the negative aspects and not the other......I agree wholeheartedly, Linda, but the financial 'machine' doesn't work that way.
