So I’m planning on making my hens a cups drinker connected with pipes to a big bucket with water since before they had a bucket with a big bowl and they always stepped on it and sometimes pooped on it since they stood on top of it so it was dirty and I changed it twice a day so I was looking through on Amazon and we got the pvc pipes and now I’m wondering are these 2 the same also I’m getting those since they are recommended but I need to be assured before buying it.

Welcome to BYC.

I have no experience with the cups, I use horizontal nipples for my waterers.

They rarely all drink at once so you don't need a cup for each hen, but if you have dominance squabbles it's possible that a bully might guard the water so it can be advisable to have 2 separate watering stations. :)
