My lacy roundhead come all yellow or yellow with faint striping and they're male and female
The cock is BBR
hens are wheaton

I was referring to the juvenile plumage, not down.

Yes males are referred to as BBR, but also carry Wheaten, which is a mutation in the Wildtype gene.

Females are called Wheaten, due to their color being similar to wheat.


There's: Wheaten, Gold type E^Wh/E^Wh, s+/s+ (s+/- Female)

Gold Wheaten, E^Wh/E^Wh, S/s+ (s+/-, or S/- Female)

Blue Wheaten, E^Wh/E^Wh, s+/s+, or S/s+, Bl/bl+ (s+/-, or S/- Female)

Red Wheaten, E^Wh/E^Wh, Mh/Mh

Silver Wheaten, E^Wh/E^Wh, S/S, (S/- female)

Buff Wheaten, E^Wh/E^Wh, Mh/Mh, Di/Di

Just to name a few of the different colors of Wheaten out there.
