Re: ~MALAYSIAN SERAMA THREAD~ (PICS!!!)I have a bunch of chicks I hatched and I want to grow out, I know I need to sell some and this women wants to pick some up from me but how do you decied which ones go and which stay??? Its such a hard choice! I want to keep them all. But with my luck I would end up with all roosters and who needs that..lol Although I can handle a Serama roo over a Wyandotte rooster anyday!
Tell the lady that if she lets you grow them out a bit, she will better be able to choose. Of course, you will also, and you can hold back the ones you want to keep.

I am getting the trio from PJs Seramas owned by Jack Payne. I dont know exactly what colors yet, but he said he had a good variety!
I've met the Payne's, and I think they are very friendly, good people! They have really nice birds also!

Someon posted a topic before about serama chicks having feathers on their legs. Someone responded saying they dissapear as they get older. Has anyone seen this trait stick? I know it's not desirable for a true type or show serama but I think it would be cute to see a serama with feathered legs, lol.
