My little 8 eggs that I had shipped here are doing fine. We candled them tonight and all are active and growing. They have been in the bator 7 days now. One of the eggs are just a little larger than a quarter and it is moving great!. I took some pics, but they came out quite blurry. I will take better pics when we candle them again. One of them are VERY active. Here they are again in the bator.

Bottom Left is the smallest egg.

Lucky! Shipping eggs seems to be a crap shoot. I did ok the first two shipments (quail and ebay serama), bad the last USPS shipment of quail(<20% broken and a lot candling clear), and the shipment from Bluegrass seramas was overnighted...and I think they got jostled quite a bit. Better luck next time, right?

So, I candled the egg resulting from my older birds, and it looks like the cockerel is not shooting blanks, which is good for him. Now I have to figure out a way not to feel bad when not incubating their eggs...I'm def not eating anything that popped out of her butt xD
My husband votes for feeding her eggs the the quail...

I haven't posted any pics lately, and took a few new ones the other day

Here is Bluegrass (came from Bluegrass sermas hence his name) lol
He seems to have the best type of any of my roos when posed but is also my biggest roo... I love love love his colors

Aww Liz, that sucks. I have a few showing issues myself. One of the kiddos left open the cage to my TOTALLY awesome boys a few weeks or so ago (smooth roo and white frizzle) and something ate them. Well, I know something ate the white one that night, found some bits the next day out in the field, but Little Brother my Champion was gone without a trace.. I picked out a few other birds to show, but they are in a bit of rough feathering at the tips of the wings and tails. Oh well.. I'll show for fun anyway, but dont think Ill have the time to pluck and grow back any new feathers.

Wow! Blue is soooo similar to Napoleon, but a bit darker. (There is a pick of him on Feathersite under Seramas somewhere) Ill have to look up a picture later to compare. Ill have to see where Blue came from, lol.. I always loved those cool hackle feathers!
