I may have some ready to send the end of the week 6+ depending on how well the girls lay. Its been so cold here and I've got mine in our garage. I've had to shut the doors up and put them a heat lamp in there. If interested let me know. Thanks

Thanks! I think I have some eggs on the way already. I checked out your website. I think we have the exact same Seramas!

Funny you say so... I have some from Bluegrass, and some from someone who got them from someone who got them from PPP! I guess that explains why they look similar!

Laying question.
I have a pullet that was from bluegrass, the pictures i looked at to pick out my pullet from was titled 4-5 month olds that was early Oct. Jessi told me her sisters are laying but my little girl isnt. She weighs around 8oz, not sure if that would have anything to do with it. Whats the lastest your girls have started laying? Any thoughts on why she hasnt started would be great.
Thanks, Lisa

What do you think of my babies that just hatched yesterday?

I love the way the black and white one carrys itself :)

My friend has 2 seramas - one started laying early November & has laid several, while the other nothing. She was certain it was a roo, then last week it laid it's first egg. She says they are 8-9 mos. old.
I have heard that the smallest seramas are usually infertile. Maybe that is the reason.

What adorable fuzzy-butts! They seem to be extra fuzzy, my little 8 day old baby doesn't have near the amount of fuzz as the B&W one does. He/she is gonna be a knock-out!

Chickenlady, they are adorable. I love the way seramas will set themselves up - in a nice show stack (sorry, I used to show dogs). I think its the serama attitude. My friend has 2 seramas and 2 silkies. They boss the silkies around, steal the roo's food out of his mouth, & even groom him just to get extra crumbs from his feathers. Sandy & Mandy also grab treats away from the dog who has been so henpecked his only protest is a muffled growl. They look like a cross between Dolly Parton and a feathered beachball but, in a nice way.
