I think I got some serama eggs in the mail. I'm not sure

someone was supposed to send me some in october as part of a swap. Today I box of eggs arrived. No name unmarked eggs. My bator is full I fired up the crappy LG, I guess I'll see what hatches.

I'm still trying to get caught up reading posts but when the subject of the teeny eggs came up, I wanted to share a photo I took today. There is a regular egg from my Maran hens, a Huge 3.5 inch long whopper of a Maran egg, a small dark green egg (first one from my Araucana pullet who now lays blue eggs) and the 2 teeny Serama pullet eggs together for comparison.

I'm cooking the biggen in the morning for my husbands breakfast. I'm betting it's a double yolker but she laid one about the same size last spring and it was not a double yolker so I'm anxious to crack it open.

I call the teeny, first pullet eggs "fart eggs"

Thank you! I cant wait either, its going to be fun to see how he fills out. I hatched him out from my original trio I got from PJ's Seramas.

How is everyone's Seramas doing laying wise? I am still getting 2 eggs a day from my two pullets. I am pretty happy since the weather hasnt been the best.

Mine have pretty much decided to spend their time sitting on pine shavings in hopes that a chick may appear someday

My only laying hen (who had given up laying a month previous for whatever reason) got killed by my dogs, so I'm pretty much twiddling my thumbs until a decent pullet decides to lay...someday...
