I just set 19 in the new incubator. I'd definitely share some with you because I'm going to have to sell most of these.

Smoothmule, I have several birds that started out looking like this. they will be anything from a tan to a dark brown barred pattern. very very pretty they are some of my favorites in my flock as far as looks. I am making my guess by the barring I already see in the wing feathers by the way.

I probably won't be able to keep most of my breeding cocks once the weather warms up. I can get away with a bit of crowing, but not all of them crowing outside. My shed will get too hot in the summer to keep them all closed up in there as well.

I placed my serama eggs in the incubator on December 31 at 8:00 pm. Should I lock down today or tomorrow? Also, I put three eggs under my broody. Should I expect them to hatch around the same time or does it take more/less time under a serama broody?

Keep your fingers crossed for me. There was a temp spike yesterday and I caught it at 105.

I candled last night and some of the eggs had movement but I'm not sure what that will do to the eggs that survived.
