Hey folks, I know I have two black tailed buffs (male and one hen,) but can someone tell me the colour of the speckledy hen? She's way too big but I lvoe her all the same, se's so docile. I'll be hatching from these guys shortly... once the egg laying gets a bit better. They are only starting again now after the winter.

What do we think? Be brutally honest, as I am breeding this year and although I am appy with the buffs I am not sure about the speckledy? one.

After your post, I did some looking at the japanese and OEGB and I see now the difference. OEGB have longer legs and the wings are short/compact. Japanese have short legs and long wings like a serama.
Japs look a lot fuller body to me an OEG is usually kina lanky

Yes, she has that lanky look...I sorta am drawn to the gamey look more than the puffy look.
