My orpingtons tend to lay a wide range of color. I have a couple of hens that lay a rather very light cream egg almost white, then a few that lay a light tan egg to those that lay a nice brown colored egg, allot like your picture. Could have something to do with the color of the hens in general?? as I have lavenders, split blacks, regular blacks, splash, blue and buffs all in orpingtons.

Is it just me, or does everyone have trouble 'starting' serama chicks? A few of my hens have serama babies and they're doing just fine. I hatched 5 or 6 in the incubator and all died within a week
I just don't know what to do with them, but I'm really getting disgusted with these birds.
An FYI, I have 3 'micro' pullets available if anyone wants some teeny-tiny girls. The one is about the size of a month-old bantam chick (at almost 4 months old) and the other 2 are about twice her size (still way too small though).

i have gotten all shapes and some colors. Have gotten one kinda pinkish color once.
