You're right about using a smaller male to a bigger female, but she doesn't have to be giant. Anything in the large A to medium B is usually a decent choice. Now, if that medium sized female is also extremely typey, her short back will reduce her inside capacity as well. Don't expect a lot of eggs from those girls, but treat each one as if they were made of gold!
