I see so many beautiful birds on this thread. I just want to tell you all, congrats on those babies, and WOW on those adults!

I've missed posting comments on some really beautiful pics that have come up in the last couple weeks, but know that I have been sitting here googly eyed and impressed!

the ones in the bottom left pic look the best to me and sounds like they have a few to choose from just look for the birds with the best type and size and i think you will be happy but don't rush and look around a bit. good luck ! AND HAVE FUN!

I have an incubator of about 24 eggs that i got shipped of ebay, alot broke before they even got here. that was before I found BYC. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get a few to hatch out!! I can't wait. i seriously have nightmares about my incubator breaking all night long. I will sleep much better after they are hatched, actually no, then I will worry about them in the brooder. I don't think I was this stressed out when I was pregnant and i had a high risk pregnancy!!!

Here is two out of 8 shipped eggs from Ebay there so tiny. One egg was marked R SPECK so im asuming the color is red speckled??? They hatched out on day 19 they were the smallest eggs I have ever seen

Yes, June has beautiful seramas. I got two from her and they are gorgeous.

Are Malaysian Seramas just like Japanese Bantams? I've been reading this thread and it seems they are super similar to my Japanese Bantams. Are they? Which is smaller? Which is a better layer or broody? Thank you!

Good question! I have been wondering the same thing. Its almost impossible for me to get seramas here and I haven't had great luck incubating from my 2 serama hens. I just want some cute pets and I can order japanese bantams from hatcheries. Hopefully some one answers this question.

Some say that the Serama has Japanese blood in its background, others disagree. Personally I don't know. The Serama are about half the size of the Japanese. Both lay and brood about the same in my experience.

ETA: I know one thing....I sure wish my serama had the Japs' tails!
