We unfortunately lost our bobwhite girl and so now bobwhite boy is all on his own and not particularly happy about it . Having hunted high and low for a bobwhite girl for him to no avail I am wondering , if I put a Japanese girl (we one lone girl) in with him would he attack her or would they keep each other company?? he is 14 weeks old ish and she is similar

Not sure what would happen re- eggs , im not a breeder - they are my sons pets so im not worried about hatching chicks - but out of curiosity , would they be able to have hybrid chicks?

just wondering if anyone had tried this mix or had any advise , I dont think I can leave bobwhite boy on his own as he is fretting and im worried he is going to do himself a damage runing up and down the hutch.

The Hybrid Is Called A Bob Bird. Its Created By Coturnix Roo Over Bob Hen. The Other Way Around Usually Has Bad Results. Its A Good Likelihood He Will Kill Or Severely Injure Her Once Breeding Behavior Kicks In With Him
