male/female duck 11 weeks

Hi there, I have 2 ducks. Indian runners. Male and Female. 11 weeks old. When approx do you think she will start to lay?

Runner ducks have been known to lay eggs while still just less than four and a half months old. It is not common to them to lay quite so early as this. On average, they lay about 5-8 months but four and a half minimum and 9 months max I would say.

Oh very cool, okay. So is there anything I should do / be aware of?

They lay like gang busters once they start so make sure to keep out oyster shell in a separate bowl so she can use it as needed. My Runners were mating at 4 months laying at 4.5 months old .
