Hello, I recently posted here not long ago about a gold top I purchased as guaranteed female. She turned out to be a he, and unfortunately had to replace him with another as I am not allowed to keep cockerels. He was swapped for an exchequer leghorn, similar age, and he/she is roughly 8 weeks now. Im becoming increasingly concerned it is another cockerel, but the breeder who replaced it are saying there is no indication its a rooster. Could anyone give me some idea? I hope I am just being paranoid!
Thank you in advance!

Thank you all so much for replying. I thought so. They're refusing to admit its a cockerel, apparently there is no indication its male.

Some people say there isn’t an indication Until it crows. It’s not old enough to grow at Hackle feathers yet. that’s probably what they’re waiting for
They probably say it could be a quickly developing hEn Which isn’t impossible but they don’t usually develop that quick
That’s got to be very frustrating. First time understandable second time I figured they try to work with you a little bit better
