hi i got my beautiful baby of a lady who said he is a he but today another breader said he is a she lol ive named him king and he is a pearl n very sweet hes 8 nearly 9 weeks old which ni no is young to tell the sex but i want to name him king but cant if he is a she plz help

You'll be able to tell by the time he's four to six months old, but not before unless you want to have him DNA sexed, which actually isn't too expensive, about $25. If he's a boy, he'll molt out the pearl pattern with his first molt. If he's a girl, he'll keep them

i rang up today about a DNA test its $370 so i will not be doing that lol ill just have to wait i guess ill keep him as king for now n change to something close if hes a she lol

Are you in the US? If so it really is only $25. I had my sun conure DNA tested with avian biotech to determine he's a male. Look them up, I promise it's not $370
