Male Perkins - war is on :)

I got 3 Pekin babies this spring, love having them free range around our acres and they live our big pond. Now however I they are starting to fight more, I’m surprised they haven’t hurt one another. I’m thinking I ended up with 3 males. Suggestions?

do you have any girls at all? boys usually don’t fight unless you have a girl. but bachelor flocks work out great when they don’t have anyone to fight over.

For sure find out if its 3 boys or 2 boys fighting over a hen.

i’ve never had boys fight unless it was over a girl. as soon as the girl wasn’t with them they went back to being besties

I thought all male since they all sound the same. If there is a female, she hasn’t started laying eggs yet. Ugh

Volume is a good indicator - if its so loud your ears might bleed, its a girl.

If its the sort of whispery volume you would get at the movies or at church while something else is going on, its a boy.
