He died.. he passed away in the middle of the night / early this morning.. I woke up to my mom said he was gone and I went out to burry him. I’m very heart broken as I wanted my poor handsome boy to get better and I thought we were malign progress.. but I’m glad he’s no longer suffering.. I just wish he was still here I tried my best to help him.. his poor mate (with the crop issues) Ebony was so scared after he passed she’s very nervous I feel so bad

It is I wish it didn’t have to go this way but it did.. my boyfriend is offering if we should maybe have his body taken to the vet to get looked at, whatever it’s called after they die to find the cause..? But I don’t know.. I just wish he was still with us

So sorry for your loss. If he were mine and I lived close to the lab like you do I would take him there for the $20 necropsy.

it’s been a long tough ride. His actual mate Ivy died from an insanely random sickness/ disease as well over 6 months ago. I never knew what happened to that blue slate hen but it broke my heart, and now it’s happened to him. It’s only 20$? And what do I do, just bring his body and what will they do/ tell me? Or do with his body after
